Rajasthan abounds in forts that set in motion the vast stand points of the panoramic landscape. The three most essential forts in Rajasthan are Amber Fort in Jaipur, Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer Fort, commonly known as Sonar Fort.
Rajasthan also has a significant number of palaces of historical importance, among which are the famous Umaid Bhawan Palace and Jaipur City Palace. Both these palaces date back to high times, and you can see the furniture and other items used by the royal families in these palaces.
