2. Jama Masjid:- The Jama Masjid, situated in what's now called Old Delhi, is one of India's most expansive mosques. Its foundation was laid by Shah Jahan from 1644 to 1656. Just like the Red Fort, it showcases an architecture that blends Persian influences with native Indian touches. The mosque goes by two names; Shah Jahan named it Masjid-i-Jehān-Numā, meaning "mosque reflecting the world", suggesting its grand vision. However, most folks simply call it Jāmā Masjid.

3. Raj Ghat:- In Delhi, India, you'll find Raj Ghat, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. He led the charge for India's freedom and preached peace and non-violence. 6. Lotus Temple:- The Lotus Temple is a Bahá'í House of Worship located in Delhi, India. The design is the brainchild of Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba and it welcomed its first visitors in December 1986. This unique building has a distinct nine-sided shape and sits amidst nine water pools outlined by red sandstone paths. Standing over 130 feet tall, the Lotus Temple is made up of 27 marble petals arranged in groups of three to make nine sides and grouped by nine to create three rings. Inside, the main hall can hold around 2,500 worshippers with an illusion of an open top that actually features a glass and steel dome, which allows sunlight to flood in.

7. Qutub Minar:- Part of the Qutb complex on the grounds of Delhi's oldest fortified city, Lal Kot, Qutub Minar functions as both a minaret and victory tower. It's the highest stone tower in India at a towering 72.5 meters. With balconies that were once used to call for prayer, this structure shows off classic Islamic and southwest Asian styles.

8. India Gate:- This war memorial stands proudly on New Delhi's Rajpath. It honors the 82,000 Indian and British soldiers who perished in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War.
