Old Manali
Situated at an altitude of 6589 feet above sea level and 3 km from Manali, Himachal Pradesh, lies the city of Old Manali, a serene settlement situated at the water level of a valley with a vast coverage of apple orchards. Manali is divided into Old Manali and New Manali by the Manalasu River. Old Manali is led by a viaduct over the river. As compared to New Manali, it is tidy and less crowded, making this place a lot of travelers visiting this place more often than New Manali.

Hidimba Temple
Situated amidst the snow-capped hills of Manali, Hidimba Temple is a unique temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhima and the mother of Ghatotkacha. Surrounded by magnificent deodar forests, this beautiful temple is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of Goddess Hidimba herself.Locally known as Dhungri Temple, the discontiguous, genre of Hidimba Devi Temple is completely different from any other temple with wooden doors, walls, and cone-shaped roof.The temple is a fitting dedication to its presiding deity Hadimba.
