Lodhi Garden New Delhi India
Located close to Delhi's Safdarjung Tomb and Khan Market, Lodhi Backyard is a tasteful backyard that houses the tombs of Sayyid ruler Mohammad Shah and Lodhi king Sikandar Lodhi. The development of this great work of structure took place some day in the fifteenth century under the Lodhi rule. As well as enclosing the final resting place of the two great leaders, the periphery of the Lodhi backyard also has a glass dome and a large dome. The structure here reflects a mix of the works of the Sayyids and the Lodhis and is an epitome of splendid engineering that echoes the glorious history of Delhi.
