Malana

If you are going to Kasol then you need to join the trekking expedition of Malana. Malana village is about 21 km from Kasol. A drive is needed from Kasol to Malana. As you drive, you will find the road's endpoint. This endpoint is the place from where the journey to Malana village starts. A 2 km climb uphill to reach the village of taboos. On your way, you will find the mesmerizing beauty of the river and the valley lulling your mind.
Malana is famous for the cultivation of Malana cream, which has the property of hash. Hiring a local guide is the best way to enjoy the serene atmosphere and unique lifestyle of the village.

Perhaps the last place to be reached by road in the Parvati Valley, Barshaini is a small village beyond Manikaran which also serves as the starting point for the 24 km trek to Kheerganaga and from the smaller villages of Kalga-Tulga-Pulga is also connected.
Lush greenery, spectacular snow-capped mountains, and views of the Parvati river add to the scenic beauty of the region; There is a bridge over the river that connects to Kalga. Though the village is not very populated, it has basic facilities like a medical shop, food joint, guest house, and taxi stand.
