
Dal Makhani
✧ Ingredients 😋 ✧
✧ Black Gram Dal - 3/4 Cup ✧
✧ Rajma Bean - 1/4 Cup ✧
✧ Water ✧
✧ Tomato - 4 Nos Chopped ✧
✧ Oil - 1 Tbsp ✧
✧ Onion - 2 Nos Chopped ✧
✧ Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp ✧
✧ Good Quality Kashmiri Chili Powder - 2 Tsp ✧
✧ Good Quality Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp✧
✧ Good Quality Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp ✧
✧ Good Quality Salt - 1 Tsp ✧
✧ Good Quality Garam Masala - 1 Tsp ✧
✧ Good Quality Butter ✧
✧ Good Quality Fresh Cream ✧
✧ Guidelines 👨🍳 ✧

Pressure cook the black gram and red kidney beans together .
Add onion, chicken and mix well. ✧
✧ 2️⃣ Pressure cook them for about 5 whistles and keep them aside ✧
✧ 3️⃣ Grind the tomatoes and make a fine puree ✧
✧ 4️⃣ Once done, mash the dal roughly . ✧
✧ 5️⃣ Heat some oil and butter in a pan, add onions and saute till they are brown ✧
✧ 6️⃣ Add Add ginger garlic paste and saute along ✧
✧ 7️⃣ Add the tomato puree and mix well. ✧
✧ 8️⃣ Close and cook for about 10 mins✧
✧ 9️⃣ Saute till the oil separates ✧
✧ 🔟 Add the spice powders, and salt and saute ✧
✧ 1️⃣1️⃣ Add the cooked dals to the masala and add water and stir well ✧
✧ 1️⃣2️⃣ Add garam masala and mix well ✧
✧ 1️⃣3️⃣ Close and let it simmer for 10 mins . ✧
✧ 1️⃣4️⃣ Turn off the stove and add a dollop of butter and mix well . ✧
✧ 1️⃣5️⃣ Finally garnish the dal with fresh cream and coriander leaves . ✧
✧ 1️⃣6️⃣ Serve it hot with roti, jeera rice or naan. ✧
