
Taj Mahal
One of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra.It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a monument to his third wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort

Itimad-ud-daulah's Tomb
Often referred to as the "Baby Taj Mahal", the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is a Mughal tomb and is often regarded as a copy of the Taj Mahal. It is India's first tomb made entirely of marble. The tomb was built by Jahangir's wife Nur Jahan for her father Mir Ghiyas Beg (later known as Itimad-ud-Daula), who was a minister in Shah Jahan's court.Itimad-ud-Daulah's tomb marks the transition from the first phase of Mughal architecture to the second phase. It originally consisted of Indo-Islamic architecture, using arched gateways and octagonal shaped towers. If you look at the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daula, it looks like a box of jewelry kept in a garden.

Mehtab Bagh
Mehtab Bagh is a Char Bagh garden complex and one of the last Mughal gardens in Agra. It is located just north of the Taj Mahal and overlooks the Agra Fort and the Yamuna River on the opposite side. Perfectly aligned with the gardens of the Taj Mahal, Mehtab Bagh provides a picture-perfect view of the Taj from the fountain located in front of the entrance. It is a popular sunset spot among photography enthusiasts and nature enthusiasts.The magnificent Mehtab Bagh has four sandstone towers, each in the center with a huge octagonal tank at the corner. It is believed that Shah Jahan specially made this bag for his personal interests so that he could come here to admire the immense beauty of the Taj Mahal. On moonlit nights, the clear reflection of the wondrous Taj Mahal in the waters of the park is a sight beyond description. Mehtabh Bagh is now a horticulture delight, with a plethora of fruit trees besides flowering flowers and medicinal herbs, which add to the beauty of the park.
