Akshardham has made its place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest comprehensive Hindu temple.Akshardham Temple is known for its magnificent architecture. It has eight exquisitely carved mandapas, while timeless Hindu teachings and flamboyant devotional traditions find their place on the temple walls. The centerpiece, i.e. the idol of Lord Swaminarayan, with 20,000 deities, important personalities and sages in Indian history displays the essence of Indian architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual ideas.
